Sgt. Remo & The Vibratones release their second single No Man Stranded. This song was originally released as a dancehall song in Sgt. Remo’s debut EP Life is for Living (2012). When asked why release a new version of the song, Sgt. Remo stated “this new roots version of the song was created during a band rehearsal. We were jamming in the studio one night and the band started playing this riddim. I started singing the lyrics to No Man Stranded and the rest is history.” Since teaming up in early 2019, Sgt. Remo & The Vibratones have been creating their brand of roots reggae music right in the heart of Texas. The music has taken a course of its own.
Sgt. Remo & The Vibratones are made up of Remo (vocals), Geo (drums), Romel (bass), Kezee Roots (keys), and Vision (guitar). The group of talented musicians is currently working on their debut EP to be released in 2021. The amazing artwork for this single comes by way of the Brazilian visionary shaman artist Hyperaton. Recorded at Alamo KNG Studio (San Antonio, TX). Mixed by R.J. Johnson at Music4Life (Austin, TX). Mastered by Randall Squires at Still Mastering (Austin, TX).
